Wickhambrook Horticultural Society Reports

The Flower Show on Saturday 11th July went well and the following were this year’s winners.

Entries this year were slightly up on the previous year, particularly in the vegetable section. Many thanks to the people who entered and also to those people who came round the Show to admire the entries.

Our gardening year re-commences with our monthly meeting on the 21st September - a talk on “Dahlias” given by Mark Mason and then on Monday 26th October a talk by Yvonne and David Leonard entitled “Highlights of our Botanical Expeditions”.

Members Information

Our Annual Membership is 5, with meetings costing 1 to members and 2 to non-members. We would love to see some new members and you can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome.

Subscriptions are payable to the Treasurer each January.

Our talks usually last for about an hour and then we have a chat with other members whilst enjoying tea/coffee and biscuits. The talks cover a range of different aspects of gardening and our programme is planned to provide something of interest to each and everyone of us.
