A Note from Your Clerk: Elections to West Suffolk Council and Parish and Town Councils

14th April 2023 | Parish Clerk Report

Parish and District Elections will be held this year on Thursday 4th May.  For more information, follow this link to West Suffolk’s Current Vacancies and elections page

Don’t forget that this year, for the first time, you will need voter ID to be able to vote at a polling station. You can still register to vote – up until 11:59 on 17th April

Wickhambrook Parish Council has Eight Councillors.

Notices of Election have been added to the Documents Tab.

There is a contested election for the Whepstead and Wickhambrook Ward (District Council) and there will therefore be a poll on Thursday 4th May – Polling-Station-Notice-Whepstead-and-Wickhambrook

Four councillors have been elected to the parish council uncontested.

Paul John COUZENS
Michael Peter LAVELLE
Sandy THWAITE and
Tracey Jane TURNER

This means that there won’t be a poll for parish councillors, but the parish council will need to co-opt a further four councillors over the next few months.  Look out for more information on this, and please do contact the clerk, if you would like to find out more.
