by Wickhambrook Parish Clerk
One of the key issues raised by local residents in response to planning issues has been the need for affordable housing for Wickhambrook residents. For this reason, the parish council wishes to carry out a more detailed survey specifically around current and future housing need for the parish.
This survey will help us to understand your needs, is confidential and will be carried out by CAS on behalf of the Parish Council. It will help identify for Wickhambrook the type of housing required to support your local needs, not only today, but into the future. Our housing needs survey will be delivered in the week 30th August to 3rd September. A pack will be delivered to each household in the parish, we would like to encourage every household in the parish to take the time to complete and return their questionnaires. The more responses we get, the stronger our evidence base will be.
A summary of the results of the survey will be prepared by CAS and shared by the Parish Council and will help inform our own village plan. The closing date for the return of questionnaires will be 17th September 2021.
In late august, the parish council will need to prepare the Housing Needs Survey Packs for delivery (30th August – 3rd September). Can you help us with this? We’ll have 600 packs to collate before delivery in the first week of September and would be very grateful for your help. We’ll be meeting at the Greyhound Public House at 4pm on Wednesday 25th/Thursday 26th August.
