As Storm Eunice fades another Storm, Franklin, approaches.

  • There are currently about 1120 properties without power in Suffolk
  • It is anticipated that 50% of these will have power restored before the end of the day
  • The UKPN welfare vehicle has been active in Suffolk today dispensing information, hot drinks and enabling mobiles to be charged.

Please keep monitoring  the UK Power Networks  map  for details of the outages, click on the icon and a brief note will display of the status of this outage is displayed.

There is also a searchable list of power outage locations, by postcode, detailing the anticipated restoration of power to supplement the map.

It’s possible that Storm Franklin and the further anticipated high winds, not quite as strong as Storm Eunice, and  rain will cause disruption with trees etc already weakened by the passing of Storm Eunice coming down. Please ensure that where these are blocking roads that the Suffolk Highways are notified via the online system for non emergency and for emergency situations call 0345 606 6171.
