Last Wednesday we had a successful morning tidying in the cemetery. The cherry trees were watered, paviours edged and weeded, hedging nipped out to encourage it to produce laterals, one of the memorial benches was rubbed down and oiled and a tipping trolley was put together.
With thanks to Tim O’Donnell, Sally Welsh and Mary Jolland. Cllrs Andrea and Kevin Grimes followed in the afternoon, cleaning guano from the War Memorial and Memorial benches in advance of VE80 Day.
