John Griffiths, Leader of West Suffolk Council, has just circulated the following message:
The West Suffolk Annual Report 2021 to 2022 has been published and I am keen for it to be shared with Parish and Town Councils.
The West Suffolk Annual Report highlights the key activities and developments that have been achieved over the 2021 to 2022 financial year, with reference to the priorities in the West Suffolk Strategic Framework 2020 to 2024, which are:
- Growth in West Suffolk’s economy for the benefit of all our residents and UK plc.
- Resilient families and communities that are healthy and active.
- Increased and improved provision of appropriate housing in West Suffolk in both our towns and rural areas.
The report sets out our achievements, often working with parish and town councils and with partner organisations, that benefit residents and businesses in West Suffolk. Over the past year we have continued to deliver excellent public services whilst also supporting local communities and businesses as we responded to and recovered from COVID-19.
The annual report will be published alongside the Annual Environmental Statement, which details our efforts over the past year to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030. Highlights from the Environmental Statement are included as an Appendix to the annual report.
We hope you find the annual report informative and useful. If you have any questions about the document, or would like to request a hard copy, please contact the Policy Team on 01284 757638 or email .
