Hello, our tree surgeon will be carrying out work to parish trees over this week and next (weather dependant). He’ll be starting in the cemetery on Wednesday/Thursday, where some of the cypress on the drive leading to the Chapel of Rest will be felled (we plan to replace these with smaller wildlife friendly trees long term). Please keep clear of the cemetery whilst the work is being undertaken.
We’ve also noticed that the ground in the older parts of the cemetery is uneven underfoot – please be careful if you are walking in the cemetery.
