July was a busy month for meetings, with an Extraordinary meeting for planning preceding the Estates Committee on 8th July, and an ordinary meeting on 27th July…

We’ve just had some work done to the pond at Coltsfoot Green, tidying up the maple and lifting the crown, and removing some of the over hanging boughs, and also clearing out some of the silt so that the water collects a bit more…

One idea under consideration is restoring the 225/226 services between Newmarket and Haverhill that last ran in 2007 before budget cuts forced us to withdraw them…

Over the May bank holiday weekends, a fantastic group of volunteers organised by the lovely ladies of the WI prepped, primed and re-painted our BT call box which is used as the little lending library. Thank you so much on behalf of all the parish!
