Suffolk Says Keep Learning is supporting people to learn new skills and techniques to help them to be aware of how they’re feeling and what to do to stay well.

The events have been organised as a collaboration from local district councils and supported by local charities to offer people the space and time to come together online to learn something new. Learning a new skill is one of the five ways to wellbeing which was developed to look after day to day mental health, whether it’s something you have never done before or something you want to get better at, learning can have a huge positive impact on the way you feel.

There are five events, co-hosted by Suffolk MIND, Onelife Suffolk, The Greenlight Trust and Girlguiding Suffolk, taking place over the next two months, covering a range of different topics.

  • Learning for wellbeing with Suffolk MIND – Wednesday 3 November at 6pm
  • The effects of physical activity on mental wellbeing with One Life Suffolk – Wednesday 17 November at 6pm
  • Christmas crafting with Girlguiding Anglia – Wednesday 1 December at 6pm
  • Earth Connection with The Green Light Trust – Wednesday 15 December at 6pm
  • Motivating memories and winter tips with Suffolk MIND -Wednesday 29 December at 6pm
