Hello Everyone
Our photo of thirty quid is all it takes to become a member of the Bowls Club for the 2020 season.
We hope (weather permitting) to start meeting at the green in April but we have not been idle in the winter months coming up with initiatives to keep the club alive. One insightful villager has suggested that the many clubs up and running in the village (such as the History and Horticultural Clubs) may put forward two plus members forming a ‘team’ to play against other clubs. We hope to be in contact to arrange an invitation session but please contact the Chairman if any Club Secretary has had a positive response from members!
Please remember the Club welcomes all members of the family and can provide the bowls so all that is needed is a flat pair of shoes.
Our thanks as always to the Parish Council for their contribution to the upkeep of this village facility part of which is undertaken by a local contractor who has done marvellous work eradicating the marestail weed surrounding the green and generally keeping the surrounding area looking kempt.
