The West Suffolk Prehistoric Landscape Project

15th January 2024 | Local History Society

Our upcoming field school, “Prehistoric Suffolk,” offers an immersive experience for students and enthusiasts alike to explore the fascinating world of archaeology.

The Bronze Age marked a pivotal era of change in Britain, characterized by the emergence of metalworking, new pottery styles, and evolving burial practices.

As part of this field school, participants will gain hands-on experience, learn archaeological techniques from highly skilled professionals, and contribute to our ongoing research into Bronze Age communities in Western Suffolk.
