The Baby and Toddler Group in Wickhambrook is a very friendly, relaxed place where mums, dads, grandparents and anyone who cares for young children locally can come to chat while the children play amongst themselves and also join in with the children's games. The group welcomes everyone with children aged from new born babies upwards. If you want to find out about the group you can come along to the first session for free and if you would like to come again the charge is £3.00 per session. We meet every Wednesday morning from 9.45am - 11.45am at the MSC. You will be made very welcome.

West County Policing Command engagement event

West County Policing Command will be holding an engagement event in the car park at Wickhambrook Memorial Social Centre on Thursday 8th August between 13:00 & 14:00. Come along to meet members of the team and chat through any concerns you have with them.

Neighbourhood Plan drop in event

The Neighbourhood Plan Working Group will be holding a ‘drop-in’ launch event for start of consultation which will take place on Saturday 4th November between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm at the Women’s Institute Hall, Cemetery Road.  Refreshments will be available. There will also be two further ‘drop in’ events, both at the Wickhambrook Memorial Social Centre – on 30th November Public session of the Parish Council meeting – 7pm; and 10th December – Farmers Market 10am  – 12 pm Your comments are really important to us!  Please read our Draft Neighbourhood Plan (available from Friday 3rd November) and then go to our on-line survey to tell us what you think. A Tribute to the Fallen and the Annual General Meeting of the Memorial Social Centre

A Tribute to the Fallen will take place on 12th November 2021 at 7.30pm in the main room of the village hall, led by Mr. David Turner. Following the Tribute at 7.40pm the Annual General Meeting of the Wickhambrook Memorial Social Centre. The Trustees extend a warm welcome to everyone would like to attend these events. Whilst nominated officers of the committee will be ratified at the meeting, we would also like to expand the number of Trustees and would welcome anyone who would like to participate in developing the Memorial Hall’s place at the heart of the Wickhambrook community. It is also a chance to see/discuss the work that the Trustees have put into the refurbishment of the hall and the future projects we have in mind.
