To celebrate VE Day 80 Years Wickhambrook WI held an event at their WI hall on 8th May 2025.
A vintage Land Rover was parked outside the hall and members enjoyed posing in and indeed on the bonnet! The hall itself was decorated with flags and bunting for a truly celebratory atmosphere.
The event was supported by WI members and people from the village in general. Some members had decided to dress the part in 1940’s outfits along with the odd “soldier” in uniform. The day was topped off with a traditional meal of fish and chips which was enjoyed by all.
