A very successful Christmas Shopping Event was held in the WI Hall on Saturday 3rd December.
An array of colourful stalls was on offer, some managed by WI members and several by outside stall holders. Shoppers were able to browse the Crafts Stall, Homemade pickles and jams, gift wrap and cards, Doggie Treats, Handmade soaps and Toiletries, Handmade Pottery, Mosaic Mirrors and giftware as well as Decorative Items from “Jardin de Clémence”.
There was a Raffle, a separate draw for the Hamper of Christmas goodies and the Bottle Stall where for £2 a go punters were able to choose a bag containing a bottle which could be anything from a bottle of Whiskey to a bottle of washing up liquid!
As usual cakes and refreshments were provided by WI members. There was a steady turnout of local people and it was an enjoyable afternoon.
