Thank you to everyone who turned up for the litter pick on Sunday (and also those who litter picked at Bury Road on Wednesday 24th). 12 bags of rubbish, a ladder, car bumper and hub cap were collected. Thanks go out too, to Cllrs Andrea and Kevin Grimes (Bury Road) and Mary Jolland for organising the events, and Barbara Merritt for supporting with refreshments at the Pavilion on Sunday.
Sadly, over thirty bags of dog waste were picked up – please remember – there’s no such thing as a pooh fairy – please pick up your dog’s waste and dispose of it in any of the bins around the village – or take it home with you and put it in your grey bin (I always hook the bag over the rear windscreen wiper of the car for the journey home!!).
