I’ve just heard from Suffolk County Council that the new bus shelter for Cemetery Road will be installed next Wednesday, 10th January. There may be a little bit of disruption to the footpath and traffic in Cemetery Road whilst this is installed.

Although Wickhambrook Parish Council is not eligible as it does not maintain or fund street lighting, I contacted the officer as I’ve recently had one or two enquiries about street lighting through the night.

With an event on the scale of Storm Babet the immediate challenge is to record where the flooding has occurred and the extent of the impact, so we are asking for your support to encourage all affected residents to report significant flooding to individual properties using the Highways Reporting Tool, if they do not have access to the internet they should call the SCC customer service number: 0345 606 6171.
